right well, not actually looking yet, but am browsing:p know all horsequest,horseselect, H&H, horsemart; but are there any reputable dealers/event riders that sell some nice horses? Probably more likely to be youngsters than anything that has done an awful amount...just so i can get sorted what kind of things im going to be looking at.

Any information would be brilliant thanks
 
Depending on how far you want to travel and send I got my girl from Stubleyhollow and was very impressed with the service and variety and I would not swap her for the world! I have had her 3 years now. They always have more than is shown on the website though so it's worth giving them a ring.

thankyou both, stubley hollow dont really seem to have my "type" of horse but will keep checing just the same.
 
I Got mine from Dawn Howarth at www.sportshorsecontinental.com

She imports from the studs in Holland and gets a lorry load about every 2 weeks. Mine is currently away being schooled as I'm preganat and about to give birth but the guy who is schooling him got his best horse from hed (completed in blue chip finals/scope festival etc) and also apparently the Whittakers have bought from her in the past!! It's a bit far for you to travel but she does have some lovel horses.
 
oo thanks Boss:) im going to put the word around to a few people i know when my mare is actually sold-otherwise i shall keep her..but looks promising someone cominfg for a second look tonight:)

basically i want to event but realise that im probably going to want a youngster..maybe even consider a 4year old as long as they are realitvly mature..but a 5/6yrold would be perfect.
will need to be at least 16hs as im leggy and nothing i get is going to be stocky....i dont mind working up through unaff-affiliated as long as they have the potential to be good, and be conformationally correct. My next horse has to be "special" if that makes sense-i dont want much do i!!!
Nothing hot headed either as i dont have facilties of my own so wil have to school mostly hacking, combined with a few lessons etc!
anything else you would like to know?
 
Ditto Alimac19......got my boy from Dawn and she was very honest and upfront about things. Not pushy at all and took the time to listen to what we wanted. I checked with the Bartles at Yorks Riding Centre as she said she had sold to them, she had and they had no complaints.

If she hasn't got what you want she will ask her contacts to look out and let you know if she thinks she has something in.
