As title really…

I’m very sadly having to look at selling my horse as i’m off to university in September.
As I won’t be at home, and my family are extremely non-horsey! If I don’t sell him privately before I leave, I will have to consider putting him on sales livery. Ideally i’d be looking for a yard located in the North West, possible into North Wales, so it’s not too far for me to visit to check on him if required.
I have looked into it extensively, it’s a concept that i’m really very nervous about and I am aware of the financial complications; but if it’s a decision I have to make, I want to be well informed!

I’m looking to you wonderful people for any recommendations or ‘stay-away-froms’! He’s not a world beater, but he’s a brilliant allrounder and a lovely natured, extremely safe boy!

Please, help a girl out!?

Jo Shaw, couldn’t speak more highly of her. She’s just sold one of mine for me and I’m thoroughly happy with the service.

Thank you! I will have a look ☺️

If you advertise, I doubt that your horse will remain unsold. I am looking right now and most horses still seem to be selling in one or two days.

So far, he’s been on HorseQuest about 10 days but not had much interest! I’m not too bothered at the moment, i’m enjoying our last couple weeks together, just worrying about what happens when I have to leave ?

A lot of the good sales liveries have waiting lists so plan ahead.

I thought I would have to do sales livery but sold mine myself. I've never done it before. I told a select few people with the same equine ethos as me - he sold super fast.

Thank you. That’s what I thought, if I got recommendations early enough it would leave some time to plan.
I have put word out to a few close friends in the local horsey world so fingers crossed we’ll find him a match that way! ☺️

He sounds exactly the type of horse Lucie Turner sells and she has a list of clients looking as long as your arm. She's more West Midlands but I doubt he'd be there for very long.
