feeling desperate today and trying to think of what I can do with our rising 9 year old mare to take pressure off my daughter who is doing A levels.
Now my daughter has decided to go to Uni in October we need to sell her, (cant afford 2 horses + uni fees) and just keep our youngster who is more of a showjumper type rather than allrounder,(the mare we wish to sell was bred/bought to event but has only got as far as unaffiliated dressage, BSJA Newcomers and X country schooling), but with the flat market we are not getting a lot of interest. We appear to be in a spiral as she is not being ridden as often, so she is not going as well as she used to flatwork, and her jumping is more energetic. Having had her on the market for a couple of months whilst I want a good home I am now trying to find out about sales/schooling livery ...particularly for allrounder/eventing type activities in South/East Midlands. Any ideas.?
