Just wondering really how beneficial these licks are. I don't use them, and my ponies certainly aren't demonstrating any sort of deficiency, but just wondering about their value and whether they are worth using. Would like your opinions and whether you notice any difference between using them and not. Thanks! :)

Dont use them anymore but last year two of my horses were on grass livery, and for some reason i decided to try one, it seemed to make a little difference, but wasnt very noticable. not much help - sorry :)

I use the Rockies yellow big blocks in my fields as safe for horses and sheep - they all seem to love them.....can't do any harm, not expensive, not mollasses based so doesn't send them all crazy.....everyone looks good to me! both sheep and horses all love licking them and they don't chew the fences so I am happy....

i have used a few... rockies bug go, 5 star lick and i have had a garlic horslyx and a respiritory one
i use them as my pony isnt on feed and i feel that he needs extra vitamins and minerals also before i starte using them he licked mud which is a sign of a lack of minerals
he really likes having them and they dont seem to get washed away and they do benefit him
