I've got a cross saluki, he's a rescue and an ex traveller's
dog. He's a lovely boy too

Yeh! We have a Saluki as yard dog.
Totaly stupid, a thief and can jump 6 foot with ease to escape....

we rescued her when we were on a hunt. She had been dumped by gypsies who got caught lamping. She was with another dog but we couldn't get near that one.
She was a timid thing. Very funny dog, will steal gloves/spoons/bottles/cans/ anything, an dhide them.
We thought it would be lovely to have pups, but knowing her she would pick them up one by one and hide them!!! (not a serious thought btw)

She had a bad car accident just after we got her, she escaped from yard and followed us on a hack. We turned and started home but she got hit by a car.. twice.. he didn't stop.
A bloke stopped and helped me load her into his car, took to vets (left Tracy with horses to get home)...
Got to vets, the bloke said, I'll be round later for 20 quid...!!!!

Cos we had left blood on his car mat!
Anyway, Suki nearly lost her leg but came through, had major skin graft. (and big vet bill)

Most expensive rescue dog!!
