Have people found their mare goes the same number of days every time? I have a TB broodmare who has already had a foal in 2023 and the stud she was at have told me she went 358 days. Same time of year as this time around and she’s in foal to the same stallion. Is it likely to be similar this time or I am hoping for too much! Any advice welcome!

Well I would say out of the 15 or so I have bred, none have gone over, one foaled early, over 2 weeks early but she was fine.
The rest were all within a day of their due date

So far my mares have gone roughly the same give or take a day .
Aria has had 2 foals and both born 346 days . But they were by the same sire . This year she’s in foal to a Connie so be interesting to see if there’s any difference

I've had two full brothers and only one went over, by 30 days. He was also much bigger than his brother as an adult.

Our mare has had 3 foals over a 7 year time frame (different stallion each time and 2 of those out on broodmare loan at a stud) and has always foaled between 10 and 8 days early. Similar time of day each time as well! (early evening).
