you can't send her a pm because she left the forum and her account is either in active of it has been blocked. someone might know if she is on another forum. glad to know the horse when to a good home.

Thankyou :D
Unfortunatley he ended up at a dealers and then on to the meat man lorry! Poor lad, he is now living like a king :) x

Haha, why did it make your heart go?

Hes ok, the first 15 mins you ride him he can be abit of a handful, but i just sit there, very quiet and let him get it out of hes system and then he is absolutley fine :D Im hoping (once i find a suitable bit for him) to start jumping him again and maybe do some fun XC, he adores jumping, never known a horse to enjoy it so much as him! But i need to sort brakes out :)
Hasn't reared, bucked and napped here, yet! :D x

can i suggest a neue schele universal for jumping? although expensive i find them very good. if you good shop4bits there is a website you can hire them for a month for something like £6 to see if they work.

I have a feeling she was from the West Berkshire area, possibly Newbury? Perhaps you could ask around tack shopslivery yards etc. in the area.

Just read the bit about the meat lorry - poor horse!! What a good job you found him.

Copied from the Sammie_x thread:

"thank you, theres no-one at my yard that will help me as they just always make nasty useless comments and my horse is much better then there scruffy things i think its a bit of jealousy that my horse dont kick me in the head and all my stuff is clean tidy, if someone on here is near newbury id be more then happy to pay them to ride him, even take him to your school? or hire one out? x"

Yes, I know how to contact her!!!! I used to chat to her on another forum and now I am friends with her on facebook. I thought about buying him myself but after contacting a previous owner she informed me that he wasnt an easy ride and as I'm not a great rider I decided against the idea.

In her defence I think she got very desperate in the end and just couldnt afford to keep him. If you want her name I can give it to you via PM, maybe try and contact her via facebook or I can contact her for you?

Used to have loads of info from the owner that used to jump him and owned him for a long time but I think its deleted off my facebook account. She gave me alot of guidance on how to jump him (if I did decide to buy him). Brakes were the problem and he was jumped by one of the top showjumpers in the country. I can put you in contact with her too (if you havent contacted her already).

Both their names will be brillient, thankyou! If you could Pm me them id be very grateful. I have been in contact with someone else who used to own him and jump him, he has been in so many different homes bless him! I have also found out one of hes jockeys used to compete him in a happy mouth 4 ring gag so i will give that ago also xx

No blame towards sammie at all, he is a very hard horse to ride, there is no wonder he was passed on and on, he has so much potential with an enormous pop, its a shame he never clicked with anyone before x

Oh I'm so pleased to hear he has now got a good home :) . I remember the posts and always thought he looked a bit special. Good luck with him
