Sand-resistant gloves

Hi All

Can anyone recommend any gloves that are resistant to wet sand? It's for long-lining in a sand school, I prefer to use gloves but once they get wet sand on them I can never get it off - even hosing them down doesn't do the trick

.

Also they can't be really bulky (I have enough trouble with my lines when I can feel them

).

Has anyone come across some that you can wash sand off?

What about a pair of plain wool pimple palm gloves with thick surgeon type gloves over the top?
My dad bought me some of these when I worked with horses, for when I done hay nets and washing off feet, they really helped!!

I used to use cotton mini dot gloves, dirt cheap, about 2 pounds, and they just get thrown in the washing machine. I used them when I taught and lunged in sand schools and never had any issue getting the sand off them.
