The horses look amazing in their coats. I always think jumping the railway fences on a good jumper must be some feel. Glad Jonbon won after a big mistake at the first of them.

I'm having a duvet day due to a virus so it's a rare opportunity to watch the racing. I enjoyed the parade of champions especially the fiesty mare.

Don't think they will but hope Frodon gets an honourable retirement now - would be great to see Bryony get him, she's got Black Corton and they go hacking on the moors a lot

Interesting seeing Luke at the filled in water jump, I hadn't noticed that

Also interesting - looks like the one in black and yellow has a 5 point breastplate on, dont think I've seen one like that in racing before, unless it's just a normal one with more padding than normal

It's not common but some horses have such high, sharp whithers that their saddles go back and its not great for horse nor jockey. No point in the saddle slipping and losing your weight cloth if you don't have to.

Last really good NH racing of the season. Couldn’t comment before as recorded and watched in the evening.
Love the railway fences, I count the strides!
I thought Frodon jumped great, he may not need to retire if he is enjoying himself, he just had too much weight to give away.
Kitty’s Light is amazing, just sits handily and then romps away, what a season and brilliant for Christian.

I never feel point to point or hunter chasing is a nice retirement as it's still racing. He'd make a cracking eventer

Wasn't Harper's Brook naughty on the run in, I'd have swapped the hand the whip was in and used it in the side he was veering towards
