Sandpaper horsewee hands!

I have excema and regularly had this problem, tried all the usual creams, very recently found Simple Kind to skin Intensive Hand cream... I wash my hands with Pears liquid hand wash (totally soap free).. then apply the cream, my hands were markedly better in just a day and fantastic after 3.. totally amazing results :D

I have eczema like some of the others, and swear by using thin vinyl gloves. If the cracks are really bad, I put diprobase inside the gloves, and carry out yard duties this- it feels abit strange but the hands heal in no time(guess nicer for the OH than using them in bed!;)
Sealskinz waterproof gloves are quite effective at stopping cracks in the first place, but you must use them before the cracks occur.
I use the vinyl gloves most of the year to keep cracks at bay, and they also, of course keep horse wee at bay!

Sometimes if it isn't cold but I want to protect my hands I wear rubber gloves, I buy a box of them from The Pound Shop. Keeps your hands clean but doesn't interfere with dexterity.

And another vote for Body Shop Hemp Oil stuff very good

Neutrogena Norweigen Formula is great as a standard moisturiser but if you have got lots of hard cracked skin then Eucerin might be worth a try, it contains Urea which softens and exfoliates your skin. It is great for cracked heels (or aldi do a foot cream with urea in it which is good and much cheaper).

Or oil is good for softening and moisturising your skin, not baby oil use something natural like olive oil or almond oil, rub it in to your hands when they are warm and then sit back and let it soak in.
