Santa Fe

We tow with a The terracan which is fab, we liked the sante fe more but appratenly wasnt suitable for towing with when we checked it out. Not sure why i didnt do the checking.
But Terracan hundred times better than our discovery and more space in boot i think

We have the 2l Diesel Sante Fe and tow a 505 with (one 15-15.2-ish horse in it.
Absolutely love it, it does the job easily and doesn't ruin us financially since it has to be an everyday car as well, thoguh of course it feels pricey compared to my 1.4 Rover! I would not like to use it to tow a lot more, although when we added a friend's pony it didn't seem to make any difference.

My sister tows 2 big horses in a 510 with a terracan and has to be careful not to forget theyre back there it does the job so easily.

Ive got the 2litre TD also and tows like a dream.

But I was just wondering about the 4WD on them, coz I got stuck in a field at the weekend and only the front wheels were going round! Ive only ever had 4x4's in the past that you have a separate gear stick for the put the AWD on, but it looked like this only had fornt wheel drive!

Oops?!
They are supposed to be in permanent 4WD. I have to say I wouldn't choose to go off-roading in ours without more substantial tyres on it.
Whether what you describe is normal, typical of the car, or a sign that something's bust I wouldn't have a clue, sorry!

My mum has one of the new style ones. I think hers is a 2.2 CDRX or something like that.
We tow a 505 with a 16.2hh idxtb or a 16hh welshie in and it tows really nicely. Would never tow with both of them in.
My mum loves her car, however if you buy one new the depriciation(sp?) is shocking. My mums is just over a year old now and we have lost £9000 on it (its immaculate!) (looking to get a bigger 4x4 to tow both horses)
