I went to the southwest equine xmas fair yesterday and had a fantastic time gathering as many free feed samples as i could (3 shopping bags jam packed full of samples!). And i have to say i was really impressed with Saracen feeds.
So...
Who here feeds Saracen feeds? How do you rate them?
My only reserve is the molasses content, does anyone else think there's quite a bit on it?
I am thinking of trying Shape up and Level-Grow. Does anyone use these?

Any info would be really apprecited :)

I used their Releave and their Equijewel. Brilliant. Really very pleased with how it put on weight nice and steady on the stressy one that is Dizzy (six year old DWB) :D I posted some pictures of her a few days ago if you fancy a trawl through, or I can post them again :)

Just dropped the Releave to try completely cereal free (sugarbeet), but am keeping the Equijewel :D

Use the Shape Up for the potentially fatty Trad Cob (13.3hh gelding). It has natural Selenium and natural vitamin E, which is important as the pony tied up (for no apparent reason).

Very nice and helpful people when you ring up for advice :D

I saw the pictures of her and thought of you when i was at the stand actually!
So youd recommend the Shape Up then? I have an Exmoor x Welsh D and i was just worried that it was a little molassesy but someone else mentioned i shouldnt be fooled by the appearance!

Fantastic :) I think i'll probably try her on a bag then :D
Also - do you feed the amount they recommend? They gave me a scoop/tub thingy to measure it and i was told 2 a day, it seemed rather a lot?!

Love them :D they are my local feed company and are lovely to deal with as well. I feed my ex racer on the enduro 100 and he does really well on it and have also used there show improver and prep 14 feeds as well. A couple of friends have ponies on shape up and they look really well on it too.
