I have put a post in NL too, but just thought someone on here might have used it who does not venture into the NL that much

I was just wondering whether anyone had used this and if so what they thought of it? At YHL I spoke to the Saracen's nutritionist and she was incredibly helpful and never once put the Baileys Endurance Mix (that I use now) down in the slightest which impressed me.

I have liked the look of the Saracen's feds for a while because they seem very up to date and I find the information they provide useful and in lay terms

I just don't know whether it is worth me swapping Grace onto the Enduro 100 as opposed to keeping her on the Endurance Mix... they are very similar only the Saracen one has more energy per scoop.

Just a thought tho - i thought you said she was quite hot, so surely giving her something with more energy is going to make her hotter? Or do you mean as there is more energy per scoop you wont need to feed so much?

More energy per scoop... but it is slow release like in the Endurance Mix. I don't think feed makes her any different to be honest, she doesn't seem to change depending on what she is fed. She is quite a hot horse, but she is a ginger and also 3/4 TB

(I thought she was 1/2 WB 1/2 TB, but was corrected by her breeder

It is not unmanageable hotness though, just gives her a bit of a spark at all times. Not so great now I am starting to try hacking her out more, but good for the dressage arena. Hopefully, if she comes out of wednesday well, I am going to box her up and hack her out at least once a week in the gorgeous area of natural beauty just 15 mins hack away. At least then I can enjoy it without knowing I have to come back along that awful road and over the motorway bridge with her

It's fab stuff!!! My 18 year old mare is on working livery at a riding school and can do up to 3 hours work a day so needed something to put a bit more fuel in the tank without bringing out the dizzy side!! She was on a competition mix which gave her the sparkle back but she still going as flat as a pancake after an hour or so where as this mix gives her the sparkle but her stamina has increased no end. I hacked her out at the weekend and she felt like she could have gone round again. Had no probs with her eating it either - she can be a bit fussy. Would have no hesitation in recommending it!!
