Hi everyone,

Just looking for opinions on the above as not sure whether to buy
Has anyone used the lotion either alongside Sarc x supplement or on its own?

Did you feel it helped?

Thanks in advance

I used the lotion alongside Sarc Ex powder, and felt that if anything the lotion aggravated the area so I stopped using it, whereupon the sarcoidy area calmed down again.

I've continued to feed Sarc Ex powder for a couple of years, but one area on her inner thigh has really kicked off recently and any treatment (according to Prof Knottenbelt) will be prolonged and tricky .

I have used them together on my lad with no noticeable difference. I started with Camrosa a week ago and I think the sarcoid has reduced in size - I will keep you posted in a month or so as too soon to give an opinion yet.

I've been feeding just sarc-ex powder (actually just bought another tub yesterday). He should be almost through his first tub now and also fed Restore alongside. Think the Restore had an odd effect on him - he was scarily dead quiet (as in dead to the world and looked depressed) and also very spooky - thought maybe vit e deficiency again but since he's been off the Restore he's started to come back to life and interact with the world. That said, in a matter of a few weeks of starting both together, his larger sarcoid started scabbing over and it looks like part of it has shrunk but maybe I'm seeing things...though I noticed last week another sarcoid started scabbing over. Not sure if it is the sarc-ex or any of the other stuff I've started him on but I'm going to keep going with it just in case.

I've got a tub of bloodroot cream as well but I'm afraid to use it in case I make the scarcoids angry.

That would be good thanks! By then we will be well into the Sarc x tub so can explore other avenues if need be (hopefully not though ??)

Coblet - just an FYI my guy popped one of his sarcoids last night (2 to go). Had him on Restore and Sarc-X powder (plus I had introduced FP Winter Hoof/Skin and Vit E though the Vit E was only in the past few days). About a week ago it started crusting over a bit and then last night looked like it was going to drop off. Didn't touch it just in case but instead made him move about which made it a bloody mess as it's in his armpit area. To me it looked like it was ready to come out so decided to apply some pressure to see if it was ready and low and behold, out it came with little effort from me. He's got a bigger similar type between his bum cheeks which looks like it is changing ever so slightly (crusties) so I'm hoping that one will follow suit. He's then got another giant one on his tummy that had started crusting over first and looks like it is slowly shrinking. Not sure if it's the Sarc-X, Restore, the balancer, or a combination of all of it together but he seems to be fighting them off. Only started him on these the beginning of June.

Thanks everyone, seems like the Sarc X is a good place to start, he’s only just started on it so will give him time and add additional supplements if not seeing much improvement ?

Sarcoids often occur because of a low immune system so it might be that your horse is just lacking something or they have been ill and got run down, my horse had a bout of lameness then he got impaction colic then just after a sarcoid come up in his nostril.

I put him on restore then he went on pro balance and echinacea and within months it started to shrink, it's completely gone now probably took about 6 months and it's not come back.
