I am absolutely terrified that it will all go horribly wrong just like everything else has gone wrong for this horse.
He is only seven and I don't think we've had a full year under saddle with problems not of his making.
Need some reassurance here please:(:(:(
 
I have a horse like that, incredibly unlucky, he had to have two general anaesthetics in six months, but came through each op fine. (well actually he still has lots of problems but the surgery was the least of them, if you see what I mean).
Good luck for his surgery, one tip would be to get him booked in for some physio afterwards, their body goes through a lot in an operation and physio will help their muscles afterwards.
