Hi, my horse recently had sarciod treatment that did not go all that well as the area got badly infected. The sarciod has now fallen off, just wondering what people suggest is good management now to keep the area clean and encourage it to heal properly.
All suggestions welcome! Thanks!

When my mares dropped off a scab formed over the top so I left it alone. It dried up and the scab fell off leaving healthy pink skin. The area looks to be getting smaller by the day and is healing really well with no help what so ever.

I would leave alone uless it looks as though it needs something.

Agree witih nat1003, my friends mare is prone to them and she has tried all the vetinary treatments and the only one that works and has not caused her mare any discomfort and has been able to carry on competing is by using the Global Herbs supplement and cream. Everytime she had the vet the mare had to rested.
