I bought a lovely coloured cob for my daughter... she's a beautiful mare who has turned out to be a mothers dream to ride and handle.
I bought her three months ago, for a bargain price.. when I got her home off the trailer we noticed a small bump on her lower lid.. I hadnt noticed it before, so assumed she had bumped it during her long journey home.
It's still there.. its about 5mm wide, 5mm high and a smooth surface. I havent called the vet out, simply because it does affect her in any way, and hasnt grown.. I thought I could point it out during a routine visit.
So my blacksmith (yes I know may not be the best to ask).. has suggested it may be a sarcoid.
If this turns out to be correct.. is the current treatment effective? Is it possible that it will just remain the same size? and should I get the vet out sooner rather than later? Thankyou in advance for your help x
