Sarcoid remedies

Has anyone tried any homeopathic/herbal creams/tablets for sarcoids?

I read about something called Thuja

Any experiences?

yes, didn't work for my mare. bloodroot ointment is the best thing i've found so far.

Didnt really work for my mare either.

Vet said to limit the sugar they have as this can make the sarcoids worse. My mare is on Alpha A and Allen Paiges Calm and Condition as it has no added sugar.

If you put "thuja" into search you will find that there have been several threads recently on the subject.

Thuja worked for me - a combination of cream and pills (but ointment is the most important I think)

When you used the bloodroot ointment did the hair grow back, I used it a couple of months ago and the area is still flaky and bald and a little sore in one tiny spot? Will the skin return to normal or will a scar be left? The sarcoid seems to have gone though.

BID - mine were the same but I found applying pure aloe vera gel onto the affected area twice a day encouraged the hair to grow back, cant even tell where they were from a year ago!

i would love to know more on these remedies. my frriends horse has them really bllody ones hanging down near the hindlegs. she sent samples of of the horses hair off and samples of the fees he was on. they sent back- oils for the feed and a cream to put on the sarcoid. my horse has got the nodular lumps on his sheath. he had an operation to remove them last year and they grew back but in a different place!!
