For those that have had sarcoids removed from their horses, Have they returned ?

Joe had a small one on his sheath when he was 4, it was removed using Liverpool cream and has not returned and he has not had any others.

My vet used elastic bands on my horses sarcoids about 2 years ago. They haven't returned (touch wood)

Perhaps I should have mentioned surgically removed .

There was a horse on a yard I was once on that had a large sarcoid removed from high up inside its hind leg, it never really healed and regrew within a year and was removed again. I moved away then so I don't know if it came back again. It was a very large and angry sarcoid, the side of a satsuma. The horse was a RS horse and it was ossibly left too late before the first surgery tbh.

My lad had them removed with the liverpool cream and they have never come back the vet said if they are free from them up to the age of 10 they shouldnt get anymore

Madam had hers removed today, It wasn't a huge one, about the size of a 10p piece, It came off cleanly and the skin underneath looks nice and smooth , wasn't attached, Vet is optimistic .

with Bloodroot cream, no, they didn't come back.
