sarcoids ,im gutted !!

Mine had 5 sarcoids. He had had 3 different homes in 6 months and his immune system was shot. I fed him Sarc Ex by global herbs, coupled with Immune Plus. Not an over night cure but now ............. he has none! And has had none for 6 months. You can also feed their Restore (one bottle of this at the same time).

I very much rate Global Herbs for their sarcoid treatment. Once horses are settled, their immune system is settled and the stress has gone, I think they are easier to get rid of.

Good luck, it is worrying, but I didn't want to go down the Liverpool route, so settled for this, and so far it has worked. There is a stronger Sarcoid treatment for them through the vets. My vet said if I wanted to try it, he would be happy to go along with it, but happily they went with the over the counter supplements.

I tried that. Global Herbs Sarc X Powder + Sarc x cream + Restore, for months before I started the BCG vaccs. Aso tried Thuja cream, Thuja tabs.
I'm sure that the above works on some sarcoids. Didn't work on the periocular one!

There are around 40 approved as in tested and shown scientifically to work in some cases treatments of sarcoids.

I would get your vet to send pictures of your horses sarcoids to liverpool and see if they can be typed if you can.Different types get different treatments.Sarcoids are not a one size fits all disease treatment wise

Up to 10 percent of sarcoids will appear and then disappear again never to recurr.
This means that all the non tested treatments...creams herbs etc have a chance of being false positives. So when people say with conviction oh xyz worked take it with a pinch of salt.
There is still no completely curative treatment for all types of sarcoids. If there was all the vets would be in on this amazing drug or treatment.
In some cases interfering with a sarcoid can cause more harm than good.

If your horse has sarcoids and treatment isn't an option or isnt an option yet. Then note exactly where they are. What size they are, what type-are they warty, areas with a plaque and some skin loss, hanging lumps, raised lumps or are they a mix of different things.Take dated pictures,Look all over the body to see if there is more than one. Then monitor to see are they changing.

In many cases however having one sarcoid leaves the horse predisposed to them for life.Remission is possible but there is no guarantee they wont come back. The more sarcoids a horse has the more likely they are to get more. The treatments are improving but as I mentioned before still no definatve cure.

Sarcoids are a form of skin cancer.Treat them with the seriousness they deserve.

Id be talking to the dealer about this horse again.
