I'm sure this has been done to death so I apologise now!
My horse has had a bump on his flanks since summer/autumn last year I think, it was always an under the skin sort of bump and it never bothered him so I left it. But I've noticed in the last 2 weeks it hasn't grown but it is now a definite lump and a bit scabby on top.
I'm hazarding a guess that it's the start of a sarcoid but doubt it's severe enough to warrant Liverpool cream (we're talking less than 5p size)
Has anyone used either Camrosa or Sarcex etc and to what degrees of effectivity?
Am I best to get the vet out now or just monitor it and wait to see if it gets any worse?
Thanks.
