Sarnie Gatcombe Advanced

To coin a phrase "it was AWESOME" Having stood in front of the massive table at Hamptons House still can'nt believe how you got over from a trot, what a star Sarnie is! Very proud of you both.

Well done, fabulous report

I was so chuffed i was able to help, but i will say waiting for you and Sarnie in finishing box was a horrible experience (my heart was in my mouth stuff!!) As we keep getting only little snippets of info about your round, but we keep getting clear over blah, blah...... And then saw you heading for home and gave huge whoop!!! after finish line.

I did have a huge smile/smirk in landie shuttle back up to stables with tack, when Lucy admitted to you afterwards ''that it was a very tough course''

Your girl is so awesome and you just have a brilliant partnership, so onwards and upwards.

On sunday did popped into see your girl and was greeted with a polos demand, which i duly gave and then after she had demolished thoses, tried to lick me to death

I was gutted to have missed Gatcombe this year and would have loved to watch you go round.

Gatcombe is such a tough track, I think you can safely say that your mare is a true star. Very well done to you both

S-J you must be absolutely THRILLED! Cracking result, what a classy mare and great combination. Also, thanks for such a great report / photos, it's really nice to see the combinations etc. Well done

Fantastic result!! I was there helping a friend in the Novice champs, and could hear that the Advanced caused mayhem all morning!!!

well done you, i walked part of that course when i was up there on sat, and stood quite open mouthed at some of those fences, i dont think ive seen anything so wide in all my life!! My opinion was that it was big and bold in places, and then fiddly and tech in others, and you needed a neat big bold jumper light on its feet with a serious brain!! Sounds you did a fantastic job, (cant bel she trotted to the table) (

)you and your little mare were the perfect match for this very very tough course>>>>>a very well done!!!!!

A fantastic result! Well done!
I went to Gatcombe yesterday and saw how HUGE that table is coming out the barn - Sarnie must be so bold to even attempt it from trot - what a little superstar!
Thank you so much for your report, it is great to hear what is was like to ride (something I will never know!) from someone who has been round.

Thanks everyone

She is a little star and I am so proud of her. She will get an easy run at Hatherleigh in a fortnight before we hope to head out to Breda to do a CIC***. If that get canc then we will do the CCI** probably at Osberton. Hoping to do a CCI*** next year sometime but we need a few advanced runs before then.

Amazing result, pleased that she gets an OI let up next, she deserves it!

You don't need me to tell you how special that sounded, and a triumph for the (nearly) one-horse-amateur!
