Sat in tears....Ive failed.

we were advised by a dog behaviourist to change his food to a higher quality feed. We found that if he hat Eukanuba, you feed less and what comes out is well digested and is genuinely waste matter. With cheaper dog foods you feed more and the "waste matter" actually has some goodness still there.

Along the lines of this post, I was just wondering if the habit could be eliminated by switching to a raw diet, with pineapple, and with a higher percentage of bone.

I feed raw and aim to balance the diet over a month or so, not on a day by day basis. If the dogs have a LOT of bones the faeces can become almost white and very hard. Not suggesting you should make your dogs constipated or feed them a less than optimal diet, but just wondering. Fruit & veg (pineapple) are a normal part of a barf diet, so that would fit in well. Anyone any thoughts/experience??
