Sat on the pony for the first time since Nov - yipee!

Pointless happy post but haven't ridden since November (when I got pregnant) and had a C section six weeks ago. BUT today I sat on my pony for the first time - only three laps of the school in walk on each rein but it felt great to be back on !!!!

Major fitness recovery plan for both of us but 'one small step' as they say!

Any tips on good fitness plans do feel free to share.
 
Unfortunately no fitness plans from me, but I just wanted to say yay! :)
I hope you recover quickly and enjoy being back in the saddle. Also congratulations on your baby.

I find yoga to be a godsend for keeping me fit for riding (back injury), but I don't know what's good for riding after c-section.

Day two - tacked up, hopped on and went for a 15 min wonder down the lane, he was foot perfect - what a star - for a horse labelled 'dangerous' he was very good after 8 months off!

Only issue was my seat bones which thought I'd done an 8 hour endurance ride yestereday not 3 laps of the school !! - time for seat saver recommendations!
