Ok so after a major double panic on friday night i made it to myerscough on sat morning.
Loaded both of them up, and set off. Had to clean tack in the lorry on the way, due to the previous nights trouble! Entered the 95cm speed class, but was too late to walk the course.
Got on my mare first and worked in, she felt really good, listening and jumping well. Took her in the ring and she jumped great had fence six down, but not sure why as i was on good stride.
So 4 faults with her. Fairly pleased as i just wanted to put into practice what i had been practicing at my lesson. (using the whole arena, and making sure i was straight before and after the fences.
Swapped onto my gelding now. He was rather fresh in the collecting ring, so just worked on getting to listen to me. Popped afew fences and when in the ring. I knew getting him round wouldnt be easy, as hes rather ring rusty from his injury. So i was all smiles when he went clear, and into 9th.
at he mo. Yet again i just when round the houses, wanting to use the space, and keep straight.
I ended up just out of the placings, they went upto 16th, and i think i was 18th ish so very happy with my boy!
