sausage boot

Does anyone use a sausage boot / fetlock ring?
Farrier recommended a sausage boot to try to stop Rusty pulling the off-side back shoe off and he's also been 'brushing' on the near-side back fetlock (i.e. below the brushing boot!)

Rusty is a 16.2hh ID x TB with neat little hooves and what I thought were normal sized fetlocks (i mean not super-skinny like a TB)

But i bought a "full" sized sausage boot and its too small. Its the only size my loal tack shop had! Someone suggested a "cob" sized might be bigger .... will it?

A temp measure he is currently sporting over-reach boots on his backs and looks like he has a numpty owner

Hmmmm can't help with the sizing I'm afraid, but I did use a fetlock ring on a 14.2 with a similar problem - just left it on all the time and checked/cleaned it regularly to ensure it wasn't rubbing etc. She was much better with it on.

As far as i know they only come in one size. As they fit under the fetlock full should be big enough.
