Savage dog Attack - Advice needed....

A lurcher is a greyhound/whippet crossed with any other bread, so if it was a crossed with a Staffy or something along those lines it would be smaller and stockier than your average lurcher.

My mum has got one (soft as a brush I'd like to add) but apparently they used to be bread to kill things because they have the speed and extra aggression from the bull part.

I don't think there's much you can do really, just keep an eye out for the dog, if you see it about again it might be worth calling the police/RSPCA or something?? Weather it did it or not people shouldn't have their dogs wandering round all over the place!

Did the little one survive? Hope so!

Its a fair point that the dog isnt necessarily aggressive towards humans, but with 30 horses stabled on that road and 6 other dogs that can I think of, not reporting seems a bit disrepectful to the safety of the animals on that road...

No I totally agree, just seems a bit harsh as he/she could be totally innocent but all of a sudden it's attacked a terrier and the next child it sees will be the next victim!
