I have a lovely pair of Hunter Balmorals which are neoprene lined and I love them dearly. I bought them 2nd hand about 3 years ago, so I guess they have done quite well, considering how much I use them, but they're still in reasonable condition.

Sadly there is a small leak somewhere near the right toe. I can't pinpoint it exactly, but it's enough to be annoying and leave me with a slightly damp sock.

Is there a magic gloop (inside or out) or spray I can use to save them?

Storm sure is meant to be good but I’ve never used it.

If you end up needing a new pair, TK maxx often has the standard green hunters - just in case you wanted them slightly cheaper (though they won’t be as nice as the balmorals!).

I went to the local surfing/boat shop (although I appreciate not everyone has one of those locally!) and told them my problem. Some black gloopy stuff was recommended that fixed mine for about £7.

It's called Black Witch , costs @ £7 a tube . We use it on our wetsuits to repair holes and tears ( which is what it's designed for ) but it works on any neoprene and has also been used to repair wellies and walking boots .
To locate the hole in your boot put it on , stand in a shallowish bowl of water ( washing up bowl or feed bucket work well ) so that the water just covers your boot and look for the bubbles like you would to mend an inner tube puncture . If there are no bubbles look at your socks and match up the wet patch !
