Saving the world from fat middle aged women in see through white breeches (me).

Because depending on the size of your bum, I have a pair of Derby House, unworn, white jods that I bought and never wore, you could have had a long loan

Massive!

But seriously, thank you. It's a really tempting offer. I'm a 14 to 16 in normal sizing. It's my hips that are actually the greater issue (though my bottom is also big.)

Normally I would, but one of my team mates has been pretending to have lost her green team gilet (aka the Asda uniform) for the past couple of outings because she hates it. I made the point that she needed to wear it for Regionals to look like a team. Essentially I've made a rod for my own back

Just go commando. With a team name like that, it's the only appropriate thing to do.

Flesh coloured cycling shorts. You can get expensive shapewear type ones which work well as they...... well..... shape you a bit too but you can also get quite cheap anti-chub-rub ones that are literally just cycling short pants. Might be the wrong time of year for those though.

Someone told me wearing red underneath works ... they might have been taking the pee, can’t say I’ve tried it but something you can experiment with?!!
(I used black tights which work)

Equetech make some thermal underbreeches which might work (and could also be useful for general winter riding!) unless it’s a warm day in which case you might be melting... You have my sympathies, I’m a beige breeches person too!

Just thought you might all like an update. White breeches day was yesterday!!
Nude coloured pants plus skin coloured tights under did the job and I survived!

I don’t really have this problem, I never compete (I don’t mean I look great in white breeches ?)
I do own a pair however, incase I do ever keep a horse sound long enough to do something and they are really quite nice.
I bought them 2nd hand so not sure on the exact model but they are Equitheme and made of a fabric that’s not at all see through and are comfortable (also have the same in navy) to wear.
