The pony seems to have got longer and broader since last winter and my all time favorite Amigo 30G rug with the option to add a neck no longer fits :'( bloody annoying as its like new and cost me almost £180!
I cant find the 30g rug anywhere, it seems they no longer make it!

Do Horse-wear do a 50g rug that has the amigo neck attachment bars under the neck? All i can find is 0'g or 100g. preferably not in a set with all the liners ect as i only want the outer.
can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ps if anyone is after what seems to be a one of a kind 30g, its the higher denier for the amigo rugs i will be selling it for no where near what i paid, message me if you might be interested 6'3 its honestly been used maybe 6 days... model below :P

I've got an optimo with various liners from a fleece up to 450gms. It works out much cheaper and so much easier to have one outer and lots of liners so might be worth looking into, esp if hes outgrown his rugs.

That’s the model I got for my big horse - I got it from Kramer I think & I agree, the best lightweight I’ve had. But I’m sure mine only cost about £80.

I’m deliberating if the little midget twerp would grow into a 6’3 ....

ETA - just checked my email the rug cost £74.95 so you were seriously done at 180!

:O £80!!! *Heads to Kramer website if desperate hope they still do it* I think i got it off Amazon, i think it was about £159.00 but i then wanted it the next day... i hope yours was on offer!

Arhghghgh ive been buying liners over summer and that was going to be the outer, now i have a load of liners and now outer... apart from a 100G with liner option which is far to warm for now and a 0g which doesnt have the liner loop, and if im going to add some DIY loops liner to it he is going to need a 6'6 as even his rambo is a little tight around his chest.

I cant see that they sell 50g liners either? they all seem to start at 100g

Ruggles do a 50g fill in standard neck, where you can attach a neck, half neck, or combo

i really like them for my big shouldered lad :)
I did have one but the necks are different to all the necks i have. plus i dont use leg straps and i really rate ruggles but i find they flap to much without leg straps.. and i hate leg straps! lol not making it easy for myself!

Ruggles have changed their neck attachments so they are now the same as premier equine (not sure what type amigo use).

Also the liners are fine without the neck loops done up. Just make sure they are clipped to the fillet string and use them with any outer rug. I used my horsewear liner with a PE rug (the attachments are the same) and an Axiom with no attachments.

So having sold a few rugs online this afternoon i am going to replace the 30g with a 0g that i can use my liners on.

in Rambo original he is a 6'3 or was, it fits his body but now i leave the top chest buckle undone as it is a bit tight (i will get an expander)

I have narrowed it down to two options -

https://www.millbryhill.co.uk/equestrian-c4/amigo-bravo-12-plus-bundle-50g-300g-turnout-rug-p15288 To me this looks a good deal and is the only set that has a 50g outer (with neck attachments) Id have new liners and a 50g neck so not to bad.
Knowing his Amigo bravo in 6'3 now fits a like a mini skirt and is far to tight around the chest would a 6'6 resolve this or with him being a cob should i be looking at the XL range? Also im not sure i like the disc at the front :/

Option 2
Would be an XL 0g and i will DIY my cooler into a liner so its like a 50g, i have necks and liners. Does anyone have an Amigo XL, are they too big on cobs that arn't insanely wide but are just average cobs with bigger shoulder than a finer bread? Do these come up bigger over all?
