I had just set off on a hack to a friend's to use her menege when I saw a few riders just ahead. As I began to catch up I saw that there were at least 7 riders so I thought it could be a hunt pleasure ride or something but then noticed they were all in medieval costumes!
I caught up with them and they explained that they were on the last leg of their trek to Bosworth Battlefield (in Leics) and they had come all the way from Pembrokeshire!!!
I think I had read somewhere that they were following the route taken by Henry Tudor in 1485.
Can anyone on here who has heard about this, or knows any of the riders, enlighten me further about why they were doing it? How long did they take? How many miles a day were they doing? (All questions I would have liked to ask them but thought of after they had gone on their way!)
