I have started using sawdust because of the price of shavings, I am looking for a sawdust fork...... I have seen them on the web in Oz just wondered if any one has got one? where did they get it? and most importantly do they work....

Do you mean a shavings fork? Most feed stores or larger tack shops sell these as well as most horsey catalogues/websites. I really like the ones with a red handle (have completely forgotten the name now), and black metal head as the spokes are nice and close together, though they are more expensive (around £20) they last longer than the cheaper ones. I cannot stand plastic ones, they are too floppy and no good for picking up heavy stuff in my opinion!

I love my multimucker - it is really tough and you can get either long handled or short handled versions. I've had mine ages and it is still going strong!

Can thoroughly recommend the Future Fork, it's fab, extremely light and nicely angled for mucking out and the tynes are nice and close together but the shavings still go through them. I can't muck out with anything else now! Have a look at http://futureshavingsfork.co.uk/
