Hey,
About 6 months ago I brought a pair of long Dublin lace boots which I loved, but the bloody zip has gone on them already and the company say they won't doing anything about it as the chances are because it's the zip that's the problem it's not a manufacturing error! GRRRR!!!
Anyway the conclusion of this is that I need to get a new pair of cheap long boots riding boots, to tide me over until I can afford the £100+ for a better pair and wondered what people thought of these? As far as I can tell the only difference between these and my Dublins is that there not leather and there half the price!
Thanks Vx

I have them and for what I paid for them they are brill - really comfy ,fit my chubby little pins and clean up really well. Obv they are not up to the quality of proper leather boots but for every day use they are good value I think

Hi
Daughter had these and they were fab, cheap as chips like £35, looked good for her lst year at BD. in fact she came third at pet plans finals in these cheap !!!!!! boots.

She had the lace up ones

Give them a try sure they will tide you over!

Thanks, I'd prefer to get them repaiered, but given that they only cost me £70 and they want £60 just to put a new zip on the one boot it doesn't really seem worth it! I'm going to try sending them back, but I need a pair of boots to tide me over, so the Saxons seem like a good option
Thanks!

have you tried your local motorbike shop - I get my riding boots repaired at mine and a new zip only cost me a £10 and they tend to be a bit more hard wearing

I have been meaning to get my leather boots repaired for well over a year!! they broke the day before a comp so i ran out and bought the saxon cheapies and they were fab!! i did kill them in the end but would defo get another pair! and MUST get my lovely leather boots fixed!

I find that leather boots fall apart if worn for every day riding or yard work, so I bought a pair of Saxon Equileather Long boots to ride in every day, and keep my Broginis for competing and hunting, and for the odd day when I feel like poncing about!
