Saxon Equileather Long Boots?

I've had 2 pairs, great if you don't want a lot of wear out of them, I bought the field boots and they split across the brogue effect bit on the toe. Not the longest lasting but looked good and I used them for winter dressage comps as I could feel a contact with them unlike my leather boots.

My friend had a pair and they were rubbish, didn't last very long at all but she did say they were comfy.

I have a pair of the plain boots and they have lasted nearly two years and I do abuse them

They are still nice enough to take competing if needed although I tend to wear them more at home now. I purely bought them on the fact that they fitted my chubby calves

dublin tall boots, they've got laces, are really comfy and have lasted pretty well, though I did have to get the zip replaced on one of them (that may have been my fault though as I ride with my jodhpurs rolled up as they're too long for my short legs!) but are used everyday and they're no too pricey

Has anyone got any GOOD boots though?

I saved up my cash and found a oovely pair of used leather Ariat field boots on the US Ebay and bought those. Those haven't fallen apart! With the low dollar and the fact that the US has more size/height choices than the UK (the size 8 in a tall/wide calf is hard to get over here in Ariats and is double what it costs in the US), your better off buying your riding boots from abroad if you know your size.

I paid $120 for my Ariats + $20 postage and at the time it worked out at about £85 which is only about £40 more than what those Saxon rubbish boots go for!

Shire Norfolk Leather Riding boots, if you want a pair of long smart boots at a budget price to wear for comps, try these babies, very comfortable and well tailed.
