I would like to introduce you all to my 2 horses. These pictures were taken by Somethingorother when she kindly came to our yard.

I have only put a couple of pictures up of my big chestnut before and have never put a picture of bay mare. So thought i would take this opportunity to introduce them to you.

My Chestnut Gelding is called Jameson (after the Irish whiskey) and he is a 13 year old, 18hh ISH and i have owned him for 7 years. We mainly do unaffiliated dressage although he has the most amazing jump i can not stay on when he does it, so we don’t jump anything bigger than 2ft.

My bay mare is called Brennah and is a 16.2hh 19 year old IDxTB and i have owned her for 17 years. She has been a sickly mare most of her life and after developing arthritis in her front fetlock at the age of 10 i decided she should slow down and become a happy hacker, which is really what she enjoys.

I hope you like them both.

wow your chestnut is a lovely colour - I must admit that I scrolled down to the picture before reading the text and couldn't help laughing when I read their sizes- My boy is 16 hands and is one of, if not the biggest horse on the yard - your bay is 16.2 but the chestnut makes her look like a pony lol

both beautiful though :)

It is really funny because i always think of my mare as a pony but to most people she is a big horse.

I am so use to Jameson size now that everything else seams so small.

Thanks for your comments.

Jameson loves the camera he stands perfectly still with his ears pricked waiting for the click of the camera before moving to his next pose, such a pro..:D

They are in Lancashire so quite a bit away from you......

haha fair enough :p
just cuz when i go see my OH (Long Marston area) we walk through fields and there were two horses exactly like yours and they followed me right to the other end of the field :D
pretty horses though :)
