My new horse has arrived and is settling into his new home nicely. He's a 7yr old 15.3hh Irish Draught called Drummer

He's going to be an all-rounder/confidence giver for me.

He arrived on Sunday and things have been going well so far - he's already a real favourite on the yard and is using his doe eyes to get lots of attention from everyone!

I was thinking of setting up a blog for him. If I get round to it I'll post the link

He is such a sweetheart and very conversational both when being handled and when ridden. We had our first lesson this afternoon and my confidence is already skyrocketing

He is a massive pig though - he's already made his way through most of a large likit in 5 days! He has also worked out how to open the cap on the likit ball so he can get all the treats out at once rather than having to roll it around for hours
