Stanley arrived on Sunday afternoon. He is an absolute poppet, has not cried in the night and is growing in confidence. We just adore him! He has a crate with a big puppy play pen attached and he happily takes himself into the crate when he's tired. He is just adorable!

Up this morning, everywhere clean and dry, out for a pee. Ate breakfast, had a little play and went to back door to go out for a second performance. what a little star! Only 8 weeks and it was raining but happy to go out. Is now playing kill the duck, a proper little border! just love him.

Apart from the fact that he looks a delight, I suspect that he may be so in other ways. A confident pup who settles quickly, appears not to have any hang-ups, seems to be aware of himself and confident, …. I wonder if you realise just how lucky you are! :)

Perhaps it's just Borders, chillipup has an equally grand and growing pup, I suspect!

We we expect regular up-dates too! :)

Alec.

Hello Stanley, you are gorgeous and far too good! My 9 week flattie pup will just about sleep 11pm till 5 am. She does go outside in all weathers to 'perform' which is good but she is not as perfect as you Stanley!

Yes, I think we are lucky, this morning has been the same as yesterday., clean, dry, quiet over night etc. He's our third border and both of our previous dogs were lovely but without any disloyalty to Jake and Barney, Stanley does seem particularly easy so far. Having met his mum and dad, I would happily have taken either of them home with me, both were just calm friendly little things but with personality. the breeder has a lovely pic of the sire 7 foot up a tree, looking down on her, with an expression of "aren't I clever" written all over his face. His breeding isn't from one of the fashionable show lines but I understand comes from Heythrop hunt lines?
