Scabby Minging Fred

Hi all,

Fred has recently started to resemble a chocolate cake dusted with copious amounts of icing sugar. Does anyone have any tips for getting rid of scurf. Not only is he scurfy over his mane and withers, he's also the dustiest creature in Scotland. I have tried hot cloths and baby oil but perhaps I should feed him some linseed oil?? Or alternatively I could groom him a little more hahaha!! Any help will be gratefully received : )

Sounds like you really need to get some ......... elbow grease!

As above! Elbow grease is the answer, but some linseed will help longer term. Oh, and silly question, but have you washed your grooming kit lately??

Ah poor Fred, being described that way. I don't know how to fix his scurf but wanted to express my deepest sympathy at his situation! Poor boy

a bath with head and shoulders sensitive - no really! my sister was sick of trying to get it all out of Tom's coat last year and did that. was instant shinyness!

but longer term, linseed is a good plan!

Ahahahahaha!! He is a minger but an extremely cute one : ) I think the answer probably is a elbow grease and no, I've never washed my grooming kit in years hahaha!! Whoopsie...I'll get on the case tomorrow. Thanks everyone : )
