Scam Lorry on HHO

Emailed the seller as I thought this was a BARGAIN. Had an email back saying that the lorry is in Finland and the price includes shipping, I have a friend in Finland who offered to view it for me but the seller has said that I need to transfer the cash or she can't save it for me. Asked for their address or a picture of the odometer dated today but nothing.

I've reported to HHO but please, share and report!

There have been a number of these doing the rounds, all at bargain basement prices. I also reported one to HHO but they weren't interested.
If it looks too good to be true, it generally is. Don't part with cash unless you physically have the goods in front of you.

Seen trucks, equi treks and all sorts.. you have to be so careful, if it looks too good to be true it usually is!

Also watch out on ebay for trailers and horseboxes and farm machinery and tractors where the location is the far north or northeast of Scotland. While there are many good genuine sellers there (big farming area) a number of scammers on ebAy are using this area to try to defraud people thinking bidders will be too far away to view.

Sadly for them, we live here and quite often have fun buy saying we will buy it subject to viewing, at which point seller gets very squirmy and makes excuses and we report them to eBay....)

For anything as big ticket as a horsebox, trailer or farm kit, if it's too far to view and pay once seen, it's a no go.
