opinions please?

English not a first language? I sold Otto to a girl who even though spoke every good English was originally from Greece even though she lived over here.

Might be worth a e-mail back? It doesn't mean you have to sell the pony to them?

Sounds like a scam to me.

He'll ask for pictures, then tell you that he'll send a bankers draft for about £1000 over what he's worth and ask if you'd mind 'clearing' the cheque for him. Then he'll ask you to send him the additional £1000 in cash.

You cash the draft, think it's cleared, then 5 days later, when you're £1000 poorer, the bank calls and says 'sorry it's a fake, we're taking our £1000 back.

Do no pass go, do not collect £200.

Scam!!!!

The fact that he includes the full advertised title - rather than - "interested in the horse you have for sale, please send some photos of HIM"

Shows it can be applied to anything - Interested in black peugot 306, send photos of it, Interested in Zanussi dishwasher, send photos of it.

Plus good day Seller - did you put your name on the ad?

And yes, crap English kinda screams it too!!!

Scam. Could be car, horse, wardrobe for sale. Ignore. He will pay you with a cheque for several times the amount you are asking for, asking for the balance once the cheque has cleared. The cheque will clear and you will pay him, only for the cheque to boucne about a month down the line.

Its a scam, they send you a cheque for more money than the pony and ask you to send them the remainder back by cheque from you. There cheque appears to clear then later the funds r withdrawn as its a fake cheque. Delete the email.

defo a scam its happening all the time at the moment Ive had twenty e mails the same in the last two weeks dont even reply delete it
