Know this should be in vets, but more people look in here. Vet came today to scan Kizzy's leg, she strained her tendon sheath in April, had treatment, been sound, all fine. Last couple of weeks just had a little feeling something was brewing, but she was sound, just a bit more fluid around the original area, which sometimes dispersed. Jumped her on Saturday, she was sound & brill, slightly not right yesterday, so vet comes today to scan, she was due a check up anyway. He says she has torn a small strand of tissue which connects the tendon to the tendon sheath, has referred her to Liphook who are scanning on Wednesday, he is also slightly concerned about some thickening to the annular ligament, have dealt with this before, but does anyone have any experience of the tissue tear?? Sorry can't remember its posh name. Apparently she will need an arthroscopy for the tissue thingy if that helps.
