I'm so worried the most unthinkable thing has happened.
Our gorgeous pony who I've posted about recently has a fat eye :( not too disastrous sounding I know but he only has one eye and in my over active brain he's showing signs of uveitis in it.
I checked them late yesterday evening and it was swollen (not badly).
I went into emergency mode! Eye drops, uv mask bute.
He can't cant can't suffer from it in his remaining "good" eye. He's suffered and struggled so much and things are just getting ok again.
If he's still looking dodgy the vet will of course be called straight away and we will begin the hell of uveitis all over again.... :(

Thanks- I so hope your right. That amount of swelling on one of the others I'd be relatively chilled about! As pony only has one eye it's a bit precious!

(((Hugs))) and fingers crossed for that the problem is better or fixable.

Oh no, poor pony and poor you. It's a horrible complaint to deal with us. Fingers crossed the other eye is not affected...

Thank you all for good wishes!

So I nervously removed his mask and yes it was better, which of course is good but....
Seeing his eye open and not swollen I realised how swollen and closed it actually was last night- I used to judge how bad a bout of Uveitis was comparing one eye to the other, of course I was unable to do this last night. The fact that its better by being treated as uveitis also troubles me.
This weather being bright but strong wind would have been his worse trigger factor for a bout in the removed eye.
He's never had any problem with this eye. I guess all I can do is keep a close check on it and call a vet instantly next time to confirm either way.
Back to being on tender hooks every morning at how he will look when I arrive!
Its been the most unbelievable relief and weight off my mind having him as a one eyed pony rather than a uvietus sufferer and I cant bear the thought of him going through all that again- especially as this time the final outcome will have to be the unthinkable.

Glad to hear some positive news, I hope it was just a one off blip & will be nothing to worry about..will keep everything crossed for you & pony:)
