Scariest phonecall of my life today...

Oh no! Huge hugs to both you and horsey PF, and my strongest good wishes that all turns out well with the baby. I am just so glad that PF wasn't even more badly hurt, though her injuries sound horrible anyway.

hope her and baby are ok, sounds terrible! had a similar phone call a cpl of years ago, YO sister phoned early morning to say horse was out of paddock and with her horses, one of whom broke a horses leg kicking it! she said he couldn't put his leg down and blood was pouring from his leg. when we got there, 5 bar gate between fields was on floor and completely bent out of shape. still no idea how he did it, but luckily came away with just deep cuts in his back legs.
Thinking of you, mare and baby!

Everything crossed that PF will be fine, Foals are supprisingly tough - I hope everything will be fine, pls keep us updated!

Hope your horse is ok and makes a quick recovery keeping her foal, leaving both of them in good health! Why was she jumping, she get spooked?

Thanks. She was grazing in the jumping lane. I put her in there because it has the most secure (HIGH) fencing. Apparently she got scared by some cattle round up very close by and tried to jump out. She broke the rails and it would seem tipped over.
