Thank heavens I can update with the news that she is doing well. The cast had to come off early as it was causing her considerable discomfort & she is now heavily bandaged, but looking relaxed, eating, (always a good sign) & talking to the other patients there. We have our fingers tightly crossed that she may be home next week......

Thank you so much for everyones kind words & support. It really does help when times are dark.
LD xx

Happy belated Birthaday...you do not look a day older than today:D

Great read...well written...I am not a cryer much myself but this did bring a bit of water to the eye

Happy Birthday (although it sounds like you had a fairly rubbish day!!)

Fingers firmly crossed that Scarlett continues to improve and impress with her behaviour!

Hey there, couldn't believe it about Scarlet's injury, i stopped off at Dragonfly to talk to your mum and sister about it! -what rotten luck when you were really starting crack on with your jumping. You and Scarlet's clinic reports gave me the kick up the bum to start a proper jumping re education with my ex national hunt boy:)
Don't despair, sounds like you've got an excellent vet and you will get thru this. Sending loads of healing vibes and antibacterial thoughts from me and Jimbob x
