I managed to get 3 lessons with Conrad Shummacher at the Adderro dressage centre today, tomorrow and friday, We took Merlin (Raubritter) today, and he was as usual a star and Conrad was very complimetary.
BUT tomorrow will be a massive test, as I have decided to take Znoopy (Zigeuneknabe) and he has only been back in work a week, as I gave him some time off to be a horse, (he is only 3). It will be very exciting for him as he has just begun thinking about girls, and it will be the first time that I have ever taken a horse that I have produced from an unbroken 2 y/o to that sort of thing! so I hope he is not too critical.. EEK!

ooohh, sounds ace

I thought you weren't allowed to advertise on this site?
This looks suspiciously like PR to me....or am I just cynical....stealth marketing rules!
Something tells me that your trainer will think your horses are just fabulous, dahling, and that you'll pass that good news on to all these potential clients here...I wish you'd advertise somewhere else.

What bbmat wrote really doesn't look like adertising at all. Perhapswe should all stop talking about all of our horses, when we compete, any lessons, things we've bought we're thrilled with..........

I don't think professionals should be banned...many of us work in the horse industry.
I just think blatant advertising like yours should be banned.
I'm sure there's nothing wrong with your stallions, and I know your yard's nice, but stop 'blowing your own trumpet' as my folks would say!
I have to say I'll take it all back the day you say something negative and not PR related about your horses

See I do not read Matt's posts as advertising. I am not in the market for a stallion and read what he says at face value - maybe I am being naive, but thats how I like to read posts

Well its a good job that hho bans people for advertising isnt it! maybe let them do the telling off and if you are not interested in talking, dont reply to any of my posts!

Also, the only businiess I have ever got from people who use this site, are people that have actually seen me out competing, i think everyone has learnt their lesson about "cyber" horse trainers from the whole young eventer/rearing issue?

I have an idea, why don't we all stop ever saying anything positive about our horses, because one day we might come to sell them and we wouldn't want to have used this site to 'big them up'.

Yawn!
Think I'll leave you bbmat groupies to avidly await the next installment.
How much will Conrad Shummacher adore his 3 year old?
How superb will bbmat's riding be?
We can only wait and hope he's good enough to share this info.
Bye from the Troll (he he he - I liked that one, SMR2007!)

I enjoy reading bbmat's contributions, I've never regarded them as advertising, possibly because I'm not in that market. Your reaction just sounds like sour grapes, or as someone else has said schoolyard behaviour.

argh.
aren't you clever?
i supose if some 12 year old girl posted about how pleased she was with her riding and how good her instructor is - you'd give her a lecture for advertising? gosh, what if she even mentioned the dealer she might've bought her pony from - i hate to think the reception she would get from you if she didn't mention/act her age

i'm sorry, but i find your attitude awful. when you're in need of reassurance and want to share your pleasant lessons/competitions, is this the response you'd want?
you're either jealous or bored. whichever, please refrain from being so unpleasant to the unaware and innocent.

Look Sh*t face your jealousy does noone any favours so get back into your hole entertain yourself!! you come in slagging everyone else why not re-assess your own faults i can lend you a pad if you want you mite be there a while!

i think we have a jelous troll here, if that is advertising then lets all go now as most of us post about our horses for what ever reason.
Mat - good luck, i am sure conrad will love him as much as i do
