Scary Stuff - Happening to Anyone Else?

Hey guys

So I attended the scariest show today (as a spectator). I've honestly never seen so many casualties in my life! A girl had to be airlifted to hospital after a jumping accident in which her horse fell on her and crushed her spinal column and 3 separate horsebox accidents, in one of which a young girl died who had been sitting behind in the horsebox with her horse

Not taking the show into account, I know 3 other riders that have been badly injured this week. They all got injured doing different things, riding different horses - they're all relatively experienced horsemen. One being the lady that owns the yard I'm at (she broke two ribs falling off of her horse and onto a jump and shattered one rib!), my friend who was trying out horses looking for one to buy (got fly bucked and is now concussed) and the other was riding her boerperd stallion, he went over a jump and somehow his knees buckled as he landed and she also got crushed underneath him, she broke her collarbone and fractured her pelvis

Anyone else noticed that people seem to be having horrid luck lately or is it just me??? (all of the above things happened THIS week):confused:
 
Yep, I've torn a muscle in my back following a fall of a clients horse! Not happy as I can't even drive. I wouldn't mind but I'm self employed so can't work and not earning any money!
 
I have to say I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary.

Sounds quite scary to be honest. and hope those injured are soon feeling better and RIP to the young lass that died.
