Hi, all! I'm looking into getting my gelding and myself a treat and, as we're in need for a new bridle, I'm considering the Schockemöhle Equitus Delta - it seems to tick all the boxes. Considering it's not on the cheap side - any experiences and reviews, good or bad? Wouldn't want to splurge only to discover it wasn't worth the money! Thanks :)

Edited to add - I'm also open to suggestions for other bridles that are anatomical (horse has a really sensitive face), come without a flash and come in XF. :)

I have one, originally bought for a sensitive TB whose hair rubbed on his cheekbones and now used on my ISH mare. I have been pleased with it and it always gets compliments. Probably 3 years old now and looks like new. It is a full size and fitted the 17h TB but is on the larger side for a 16h ISH so a cob would be perfect for her.

Thank you for the input! Good to hear that it's also on the larger side, as my gelding has a massive head. Gonna measure his head tomorrow, but suspecting that he might need the biggest size, as he usually does with other brands.

Meanwhile, window shopping in online tack stores and came across the Lingus Fairfield bridle - looks interesting, but doubting the quality of the leather - price seems suspiciously cheap!

I think that the whole idea behind this type is it being NOT drop or flash, and there are plenty of anatomical drop/flash variants to choose from already. :)

Due to limited finances I ended up getting the Fairfield Lingus bridle from Hooks as a temporary one, and it is surprisingly nice for the price. My gelding is also very content in it, so it's been a success for now - will see how the leather and workmanship holds over time! I still hope to get the Shockemohle bridle from my OP eventually...
