Rosiie- I hope you whip their butt in court to be honest, I know how bad it can be- my own horse and a friends were both shot by an air rifle, we never caught the little shits that did it, but i know how upsetting and sickening it is and how infuriating it is to not know who did it. Good luck, I hope they get taught a lesson, but sadly, I doubt it

I can only echo what others have said. Please don't think all young people are like this, they're not, fortunately.

If this happened in school time, most schools have electronic registration systems so that pupils are traceable. They should be able to say who exactly was off site and when.

Definitely follow the school complaints procedure and definitely complain to the school governors. Good luck,

Sick vile little b*****s, I dread to think what my actions would be if I ever catch anyone harming any creature just for pleasure but is this behaviour from some kids really anything new?

We always talk about 'the youth of today' but don't forget, Ian Brady kick started his murderous career by torturing domestic pets for the hell of it and I think some individuals are just dragged up with no respect, self discipline or compassion. Trouble is each generation breeds another pile of the proverbial.

I really hope you identify the culprits and bring them to book, have the Police considered prosecuting them under the Animals Act rather than for criminal damage? I only ask because it's easier than they may realise and the RSPCA can assist with gathering evidence, PM me if you want to know more.

sadly, it is not just the kids these days, they learn from their parents and the parents half the time couldn't care less either. I am disgusted at the Mistresses attitude and I sincerely hope the evidence you have gathered will get good results fo you. Please keep us updated.
