I would go for the school, no questions asked. You will always have somewhere with decent footing to school your horses and it will be worth its weight in gold in the winter. Easier to hire a box or trailer until your in a position to buy one and then you have the best of both worlds

I suppose that is the thing isn't it. My box is out 3/4 times a week and I don't find it a faff. Still think get the school and a trailer and leave the silly one at home. If you've several others it will still give you loads of options.

Okies so a school, grader and old ride on mower to tow it will be same price roughly as the lorry, that's the school then set for a good 5+ years. Lorry will cost 500 or so for insurance 300 on tax and thats before any engine repairs on top so is equal to at least 8 hires of the lorry ergo school better value for money
