Has anyone got any good training/schooling exercises I can use with My 4yo? She's w/t in a natural outline, with rein changes/serpentines, some canter on both reins but not brilliant (but good for what little we have actually done!). She leg yields in w/c in a straight line and on a circle. Can do a decent turn on the haunches/forehand.

I tend to include some tear drops, and shallow loops and plenty of transitions too. Just looking for anything extra or anything better to add in? She's my first youngster...

At 4 I would be happy with that and move onto hacking out over all sorts of terrain, and meeting everything the countryside can offer, streams, banks, cows etc.

She's good with varying traffic at varying speeds on narrow lanes (and idiot drivers pipping their horn and revving as they go past!), walking over wooden bridges, opening gates, going past cows (we have to ride past them whichever way we go!) and in varying terrain but hasn't really seen streams to walk thru as we have none (we have bridges over them all). She does still need to see more out hacking but I'm trying to vary what I do with her.

It really depends on how mature she is. My 4yo is quite weedy so is doing about the same as yours, though I only school once a week. I also do poles trotting poles, canter poles and random poles dotted about the school. Other than that we just hack. My friend 4yo however is quite mature and she is already out jumping BN, but her flat work is probably the same as yours.
